KidResize Returns & Refunds Policy

Last updated: November 4, 2026

KidResize is operated by Arvo Equities, 255 South Orange Ave Suite 104-1715, Orlando, FL 32801. This page explains, in plain English, how returns, claims and refunds work on KidResize. It summarizes our Terms of Service (mainly Sections 3, 5, 6, 10, 12 and 16). If this page and the Terms ever differ, the Terms control.

1. The short version

2. Why there are no returns

KidResize is a marketplace for used children's items sold by independent sellers (Terms ยง2). We do not own, store, inspect or ship items, and most sellers are individuals, so returns for fit or preference are not offered. Please read the full listing, photos, size and condition before you buy (Terms ยง7).

3. What a claim can cover

You may open a claim if your order has one of these problems. Whether a refund is given is decided case by case under Terms ยง10.4.

Problem Examples Window (Terms)
Not as described Wrong size, condition worse than listed, undisclosed stains, holes or flaws, missing parts 3 days after delivery (ยง10.2)
Wrong item You received a different item than the one listed 3 days after delivery (treated as not as described)
Damaged in shipping The item arrived broken or damaged 3 days after delivery (treated as not as described)
Counterfeit A branded item that is not genuine (ยง11.1, ยง17A) 3 days after delivery (ยง10.2)
Recalled or prohibited item An item under recall or banned by ยง11.1 3 days after delivery (ยง10.2); see Section 8 below
False car-seat confirmation Expired, crashed, missing parts, or recalled seat (ยง11.3) 3 days after delivery (ยง10.5)
Bulk lot mismatch Missing items or items that don't match the lot (ยง9) 3 days after delivery
Not received / lost No delivery, or tracking stops 30 days after purchase (ยง10.3)

Not covered: fit, change of mind, normal wear that was disclosed in the listing, and anything bought or paid for outside KidResize (ยง14.2).

4. How to file a claim

  1. Go to the Help Center and open a support ticket. Choose "Item Not As Described" or "Shipping / Tracking Issue", and enter the order code shown in your Purchases.
  2. Describe the problem and include clear photos of the item, labels, packaging and shipping label where relevant.
  3. Do it within the window above. You can also email help@kidresize.com.

Keep the item and its packaging until the claim is decided.

5. What happens next

6. How refunds are paid

7. Cancellations before shipment

8. Local pickup orders

9. Recalled and unsafe items

Selling recalled children's products, or products that don't meet federal safety rules, is prohibited, including used items (ยง11.1). If you think an item you bought is recalled:
- Stop using it and check cpsc.gov, saferproducts.gov or nhtsa.gov/recalls (for car seats).
- Open a claim (Section 4) and tell us the recall details.
- Follow the manufacturer's recall instructions; many recalls offer a remedy directly from the manufacturer.
- You can report a safety problem to the CPSC at saferproducts.gov.

KidResize does not inspect or test items and doesn't guarantee their safety (ยง11.3, ยง19.1).

10. Sellers: your responsibilities

11. Chargebacks

Please contact us before you dispute a charge with your bank. We can usually resolve problems faster through a claim. Filing false claims or chargebacks for orders that were delivered as described may lead to suspension and recovery of our costs where the law allows (ยง7). Charged-back orders are not paid out to the seller (ยง16.4).

12. Your rights under law

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under applicable law that can't be waived by agreement (ยง10.4, ยง19.4).
