KidResize is operated by Arvo Equities, LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Arvo," "we," "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use KidResize, how we use it, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: your name, email address, password (stored hashed).
• Listings and photos: the photos, descriptions, sizes, prices and other details you post, and, if you offer local pickup, the pickup city, ZIP code and pickup address you enter.
• Orders: what you bought or sold, amounts, fees, order status and messages exchanged about an order.
• Shipping address: the address you give for shipping, and the address a buyer enters at checkout.
• Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your card details; we do not receive or store full card numbers. We receive limited information from Stripe such as payment status and, for sellers, payout status.
• Children's sizes: if you choose to add size profiles for your children, we store the sizes and an optional nickname you enter. We do not ask for a child's full name, photo or date of birth.
• Device and cookie data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and cookies needed to keep you signed in and secure the site. If analytics or advertising tags are enabled, they may set cookies to measure visits and purchases.
• Browsing activity: when you are signed in, we record which listings you open and how long each one is on your screen (only while the page is visible), together with that listing's category, brand, size and gender. We do not record this when you are signed out. We do not use this to build profiles of children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
• Support requests: what you send us through the support form or email.

2. How we use information

• To run the marketplace: create accounts, publish listings, process orders, create shipping labels and release seller payouts.
• To draft listing details from the photo you upload (our AI tool suggests a title, size and condition notes for you to review).
• To send order, payout, account and support messages.
• To keep KidResize safe: prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, and handle claims.
• To understand and improve how the site is used.
• To personalize what you see: we use your recent browsing activity to put the listings you're most likely to want first, and to show "Picked for you" and "More like this". Recent activity counts more than older activity. This uses listing details only, not information about your children. You can see the standard newest-first order at any time with "Show newest".
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Machine learning and AI

When you upload a listing photo, our photo tool sends that photo to Google's Gemini API, which drafts a title, brand, description, condition notes, gender, category, size and suggested price for you to review and edit before you publish. We send the photo and our instructions; we do not send your name, email address or other account details with it.

We may use listing photos and listing details (such as titles, descriptions, brands, sizes, condition notes, categories and prices) to develop and train machine-learning features for KidResize, such as drafting listings and suggesting prices. Service provider that processes listing photos for these features: Google (Gemini API). Using this data to build our own features is not a sale of personal information; we do not sell your personal information.

3. How we share information

We share personal information only as needed to operate KidResize:

• Stripe, to process payments, refunds and seller payouts.
• Our shipping-label provider, to create labels and tracking for orders.
• Hosting, email and AI service providers that process data on our behalf under contract, only to provide their services to us.
• The other party to a sale, for fulfillment: the seller receives the buyer's name and shipping address; for local pickup, buyer and seller can message each other, and the seller's pickup address is shown only to the buyer who paid for that order. Before purchase, other users see only the pickup city and ZIP code. We do not include pickup addresses in search-engine data or shopping feeds.
• Law enforcement or others, in response to valid legal process or to prevent imminent harm.
• A successor, if Arvo is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies that are necessary to sign you in, keep your session secure and prevent fraud.

We do not currently use analytics or advertising tags. If we add them, we will describe them here before they go live.

5. Children

KidResize is for adults (18+) buying and selling children's clothing. It is not directed to children under 13. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we delete it.

6. Retention

We keep account information while your account is open. We keep order and payment records for as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal purposes, and to handle claims and chargebacks. Support requests are kept as long as needed to resolve them and keep a record.

We keep browsing activity for as long as needed for personalization, business, legal and security purposes, and delete it when you delete your account or on a valid request.

7. Your choices and deletion requests

You can update your account and address in your dashboard. To ask for a copy of your information, a correction, or deletion of your account, email help@kidresize.com. We will verify the request and respond within a reasonable time. We may keep records we are required to keep by law, such as completed order records.

You can ask us to delete your browsing activity at any time by emailing help@kidresize.com, or use 'Show newest' to see listings without personalization. You can also turn off personalized picks in your account settings; when it's off, we stop recording your browsing activity and show listings newest first.

8. Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections and hashed passwords. No system is completely secure.

9. Changes

We will post changes here with a new "Last Updated" date and, for material changes, email registered users.
